    Hi Tina. I read your article about the origins and meaning of the song “Black Magic Woman”. I like the original version of the song written by Peter Green and also Santana’s version as well. I was lucky enough to have seen Carlos in concert back in the mid-70s open for Eric Clapton. A great show to be sure.

    I did notice that you mention Peter Green joined the cult “Children of God”, but it was actually Jeremy Spencer (slide guitarist for Fleetwood Mac in the early days) that joined that cult. Peter Green joined a commune in Munich, Germany after leaving FM.
